Immersive Audio Experience in a Natural Retreat

Aqua Angar Spa is a tranquil retreat designed to offer an escape from everyday noise, immersing visitors in the benefits of nature within a mystical setting. Located just two hours from Cluj-Napoca, one hour from Baia Mare, and 40 minutes from Zalău, Aqua Angar Spa & Resort invites guests into a secluded yet enchanting world. The resort features an indoor pool, heated jacuzzi, sauna, massage services, a newly developed guesthouse, a restaurant, and various activities, both indoors and outdoors.

As a hotel, spa center, and event venue in Cehu Silvaniei, the project required a high-quality audio experience that seamlessly integrates into different functional spaces.

Scope

The challenge was to create a harmonious audio environment across multiple distinct areas, including:

  • Fitness room, squash court, outdoor pool, massage rooms
  • Changing rooms, bathrooms, relaxation zones
  • Hotel and conference hall

The solution needed to allow easy control by staff, enable customized audio distribution for different spaces, and ensure a premium sound experience tailored to each area’s specific needs.

Solution

We implemented a multi-zone audio system using Profile Series products, ensuring consistent sound quality while adapting to the volume needs of each space:

  • Low-volume areas (hallways, bathrooms, changing rooms) – P1.3L and P1.3C speakers were selected based on the spatial architecture.
  • Relaxation and ambient areas (reception, bar, massage, solar, squash) – P2.3L, P2.3C, and moisture-resistant P2.3F speakers ensured optimal sound distribution.
  • High-moisture zones (indoor pool, spa center) – Specialized speakers handled the humidity while delivering clear, immersive sound.
  • Large open areas (outdoor pool, sunbathing areas, event hall, fitness center) – P4.3L, P4.3C, and P4.3S speakers, paired with B10, B12, and B15 bass units, created a powerful and dynamic sound environment.

Control & Customization

  • Dual control system:
    • Wall-mounted volume control panels for each zone.
    • Mobile device control with different access levels based on user preferences.

This project successfully delivered a seamless, high-quality audio experience, enhancing the ambiance of Aqua Angar Spa and complementing its luxurious and tranquil atmosphere.
